Protect Your Chamet Account From OTP and Login Scams
By Chamet Agents editorial team · Reviewed October 26, 2026
A message that offers instant approval or an urgent account repair can pressure you into sharing access. Use a simple verification routine before acting on login-related instructions.

Recognize requests for access
Treat requests for passwords, one-time codes, screen-sharing of a login or remote control of your device as access requests. An account name, copied logo or screenshot of another user’s profile does not prove authority. Pause when the sender tries to stop you from checking their identity independently.
“Send me your OTP or password so I can approve your account.”
Stop sharing information. Open the support route you verified independently.
Use the platform’s recovery process and contact verified support promptly.

Verify through a separate route
Open the app or store listing yourself and use the verified help route shown there. Do not rely only on the link supplied in the suspicious message. Explain the claim and ask whether the requested action is legitimate. Keep the original message for reporting, without forwarding private codes to anyone else.
Respond promptly if you shared access
Use the recovery and security options available through the actual service. Protect any connected email account and ask official support what else should be reviewed. Avoid paying another stranger to recover the account. Write down when the event happened and which information was disclosed so your report is precise.
Can a real-looking profile guarantee that a sender is support?
No. Display names and images can be copied. Verify the contact through the app or developer information you access independently.
This is independent preparation guidance. App controls, eligibility and commercial arrangements can change. Confirm account-specific requirements in the current app or through the developer’s verified support channels. Keep passwords and one-time codes private.
