Update or Reinstall Chamet Without Losing Your Login Details

An update and a reinstall are different actions. Before changing an installation, check your sign-in route and record the information you need to return to the correct account.

Know which action you need

An ordinary store update keeps the installation in place. Removing the app may erase local settings and can require signing in again. Decide what problem you are trying to solve and whether a targeted setting check would answer it first. Do not treat reinstalling as a universal fix.

Prepare account access beforehand

Confirm the sign-in method and access to the associated number or identity provider. Save non-sensitive information that helps identify your account, such as the account ID where available. Never save a one-time code as a permanent password or send account credentials to an agency contact for safekeeping.

Confirm which phone, email or connected login belongs to the account.

Keep recovery access

Check that you can receive messages or use the linked account yourself.

Use a verified source

Find the existing app through its genuine store listing. Updating and reinstalling are different actions.

Use the same legitimate store or developer-verified installation route. Read any new permission prompts and check the current version after installation. If your profile looks different after signing in, stop before creating another account and verify that you used the correct method and identity.
