Identify a repeatable trigger
Does the app close at startup, while opening the camera or after a long session? Note the device model, operating system and app version. Check whether storage is nearly full and whether the phone is unusually hot. A repeatable trigger is much more useful than several unrelated guesses.
Close the app normally and restart the device if needed.
Use the verified store listing to check for an available update.
Cache contains temporary files. Clearing app data is a larger reset and can remove local settings or sign-in state.

Use small reversible checks
Close unused applications and restart the affected app. Check for an update through the same trusted store used to install it. Restart the device if appropriate. After each change, repeat the same action that failed so you can tell whether the behavior changed. Do not download a modified build presented as a repair.
Protect access before larger changes
Before reinstalling or clearing stored data, confirm that you know the sign-in method and can access any required contact details. Keep the error description and any permitted screenshot. If the problem persists, report the trigger and the checks already tried through a verified support route.
Is clearing cache the same as clearing app data?
Not necessarily. Device interfaces distinguish these actions differently, and deleting data can remove local settings or require login again. Read the device’s explanation before confirming.
This is independent preparation guidance. App controls, eligibility and commercial arrangements can change. Confirm account-specific requirements in the current app or through the developer’s verified support channels. Keep passwords and one-time codes private.
