Chamet Camera Not Working: Permission and Device Checks
By Chamet Agents editorial team · Reviewed October 26, 2026
A blank camera view does not always mean the phone is broken. Check access, competing apps and the camera itself in a short sequence before escalating a Chamet camera problem.

Check the basic device view
Open the device’s normal camera application to see whether it produces an image. Clean the lens and check for a physical cover. If the normal camera also fails, begin with device troubleshooting. If only Chamet is affected, focus on app access and its current controls.
Test the camera in the ordinary camera app and check the lens.
Review Chamet camera access in device settings; labels depend on the OS.
Close another app using the camera, then retry the same task.
Original camera checklist. No invented permission dialog or app screen is shown.
Inspect access and competing use
Review the operating system’s permission for Chamet and any camera privacy switch. Close another application that may be using the camera. Return to Chamet and check the selected camera. Menu names vary across phones, so follow your device’s own settings descriptions rather than an unrelated screenshot.
Describe the remaining problem precisely
Note whether the view is black, frozen, sideways or unavailable only at a particular stage. Include device model, app version and when it last worked when asking support. Do not uninstall immediately if you have not confirmed how to regain account access afterward.
Does clearing app data guarantee a camera fix?
No. It can also remove local settings or require a new login. Try targeted permission and device checks first, and understand the consequences before clearing data.
This is independent preparation guidance. App controls, eligibility and commercial arrangements can change. Confirm account-specific requirements in the current app or through the developer’s verified support channels. Keep passwords and one-time codes private.
