Before Working With a Chamet Sub-Agent: Questions to Resolve

By Chamet Agents editorial team · Reviewed October 26, 2026

Before discussing a sub-agent arrangement, clarify the platform’s current rules and the responsibilities each person would have. A label alone does not explain approval, reporting or payment terms.

Verify what the arrangement means

Ask where the role is defined in the current platform materials and which account tools support it. Confirm who approves participation and what activities are permitted. Do not assume a commission diagram found online establishes eligibility or that another agency’s agreement applies to your account.

Agree on responsibilities first
Agency

Explain the relationship, permitted access and support channels.

Sub-agent

Clarify recruitment, onboarding and reporting responsibilities.

Host

Keeps control of the account and completes personal verification.

Map responsibilities in writing

List who handles recruitment, host onboarding, account questions and reporting. Clarify who communicates changes and how a disagreement is raised. If payment shares are proposed, ask for the eligible basis, reporting period, adjustments and payment process. Separate the agency’s proposal from platform-set terms.

Review the information flow

Decide which records each person genuinely needs and how they will be shared securely. Avoid passing around identity documents or account credentials. Keep a record of the terms reviewed and the unresolved questions. Obtain appropriate professional advice for commitments you do not understand rather than treating a blog checklist as a contract review.

Does a sub-agent label guarantee access to a dashboard?

No. Confirm the actual account permissions and approval route through the platform. A private conversation cannot establish which tools a particular account will receive.

Use the current information for your account

This is independent preparation guidance. App controls, eligibility and commercial arrangements can change. Confirm account-specific requirements in the current app or through the developer’s verified support channels. Keep passwords and one-time codes private.
