Chamet Host vs Agent: Responsibilities to Compare

By Chamet Agents editorial team · Reviewed October 26, 2026

Compare the work involved in hosting and agency management before choosing a Chamet registration route. The right choice depends on responsibilities, availability and the terms you can verify.

Compare the everyday work

Hosting centers on preparing and participating in sessions. Agency work centers on coordinating people, explaining onboarding and reviewing operational questions. Neither label tells you what a particular agreement requires. Ask for a written description of the role instead of deciding only from a commission screenshot.

Choose the work you want to do
Host

Prepare a profile, create live content and interact with viewers.

Agent

Invite and support hosts, coordinate onboarding and review team reports.

Both routes

Verify the applicable requirements, responsibilities and terms before committing.

Role comparison. A role title does not guarantee approval or income.

Ask different questions for each role

For a host role, ask about account eligibility, expected availability, support and the platform rules for sessions. For an agent role, ask who approves the agency, which tools are provided, how recruitment is governed and how results are recorded. Separate platform requirements from a contact’s personal preferences.

Test whether the role fits your time

Make a weekly availability sheet. Include preparation, communication, follow-up and administration, not just time spent live. List tasks you can do confidently and tasks that need training. Review unresolved questions with the appropriate contact before submitting sensitive information or accepting proposed conditions.

Can one description of earnings compare both roles fairly?

Only if it explains the same period, assumptions, costs and responsibilities. A host’s activity figure and an agency’s team total are not automatically comparable.

Use the current information for your account
